Chando resides in New York City. Chando studied at Manhattan College before becoming an actress. Chando was Maddie Coleman, the lead character of As the World changes from 2005 to 2007. She then reprised this role for a duration of time that began in late 2009. Alexandra made her acting debut in 2002 on the TV series House Blend in the role of Jenna Harper. She also played Maddie Coleman in the CBS television soap As the World Turns for three years.
