roulette
Roulette is a form of gambling was named after the French word meaning "little wheel" and was likely inspired by the Italian game Biribi. Players can put bets on one or any number, as well as the color black and red. Also, they have the option of placing bets on whether the numbers are odd or even , or high (19-36), or low (18-18). To find the winning number, the croupier spins the wheel in one direction, then spins the ball in the opposite direction, around a circular track with a slight tilt that runs along the outside edge of the wheel. The ball loses momentum and passes through a series of deflectors, before coming down onto the wheel. It will then fall into one of the three-seven (single zero, French or European style Roulette), or thirty-eight (3,0, American style Roulette) [1] colored or numbers pockets. Anyone who has placed a winning bet will receive the winnings.
